Amount of pupil premium allocation for the current year£96,290
Year 7 Literacy/Numeracy Catch Up Funding AllocationFinal payments of the Year 7 catch-up premium were made in relation to the 2019-20 academic year. Details of how the funding was used and the associated impacts are detailed in the attached document.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Catch-Up PremiumMadani Girls School will use COVID-Catchup funding for specific activities such as tutoring, summer school and literacy/numeracy catch-up to support our pupils’ education recovery in line with the curriculum expectations in the actions for schools during the coronavirus outbreak.

Madani Girls School will use this funding for specific activities such as tutoring, sports enrichment, wellbeing and literacy/numeracy catchup to support missed learning with a particular focus on disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils as we know they have been most affected.

To ensure Madani Girls School make the best use of this funding, the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) will be used with evidence-based approaches to provide catch-up opportunities for all students.

Furthermore, Madani Girls School will use catch-up premium funding to support any summer catch-up provision and can carry funding forward to future academic years.

The document attached details the MSF Catch Up action plan with proposed catch up premium funding expenditure

As with all government funding, school leaders and governors must be able to account for how the money is being used. Therefore, the impact and spending strategy for this catch-up premium will be reviewed at every Governing body meeting throughout the 2020-2021 academic year.
