World Space Week
The theme this year was ‘Women in Space’.
The inspirational contribution of amazing women to Space Science was taught to students in science lessons. Students took part in fun space-themed quizzes during the week and entered a poster competition.
We had lots of totally cosmic entries!
Congratulations to Yasmine G, who won first prize in the poster competition. Yasmine received tickets to the National Space Centre for herself and an adult.
Runners up were Umaymah E and Nishat A, who each won a planisphere and a space encyclopaedia. Well done!
